This is one area where I also have difficulty allocating time. I am trying to block specific times of my day for different task completions and this is one of those areas. I would be interested in hearing if you have found any organizational system that works better than another.
Also, I meet with my team leaders at minimum on a weekly basis. At this point, they are not formally scheduled. I try my best to accommodate their schedule.
I was just curious to see how everyone structured their time for financial analysis. One of my goals for improvement in 2017 is to set aside more analytical time to go over financials. As you know, our roles become very hands on so sometimes time for this type of thing gets put on the back burner.
Also, how about meetings with your direct reports? I try to do a monthly meeting with all of my practice managers that report to me and then do a one and one biweekly meeting.
