Pennsylvania Medical Group Management Association
Risk & Compliance Management
Led by the Connecticut MGMA in collaboration with the NY MGMA, PA MGMA, VA MGMA, and WV MGMA. What do you do when you think there has been a breach of PHI? Are you really sure it was a breach? Could it have been a security incident? A privacy incident? What are the first steps you take to identify what occurred? Who needs to be notified? What do you do to resolve the problem? What if the incident involved a Business Associate? These and other questions and recommendations will be explored in this session with a Privacy Officer and a Security Officer.
