While significant legislative and regulatory changes reshape the healthcare landscape in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Matt Devino from MGMA will present an update on the current state of federal healthcare policy affecting medical groups. Attendees will gain a deeper understanding of these changes and their impact on the day-to-day activities of medical group practices, in addition to being directed to clarifying resources. Specific topics include updates to the CARES Act Provider Relief Fund, Paycheck Protection Program, Medicare Quality Payment Program, proposed 2021 physician fee schedule, and a host of other timely issues. David Thompson from PAMED will then provide a state election recap, including changes to the political landscape, and what lies ahead for legislative issues in 2021 at the state level. David will highlight ways that you can advocate for your medical practice in the coming months.
