Event Policy

A request to cancel a registration and/or request a refund must be made in writing to An administrative fee may apply for a cancellation received within one week of the event. We regret that a refund will not be issued to an individual who does not attend the event.

Event registration implies consent that any pictures or video taken during the event can be used for event coverage and promotional purposes. Pennsylvania MGMA is able to use your likeness without remuneration.

    Pennsylvania MGMA members can post a career placement for free; the nonmember fee is $99 per career placement. Payment must be received, in full, before we post a career placement to this web site.

    Financial Management

    Led by the New York MGMA in collaboration with the CT MGMA, PA MGMA, VA MGMA, and WV MGMA.

    Identify key areas where your organization can improve upon existing A/R policies and procedures.  This session will specifically address the 90-day collection cycle, communicating with  patients effectively by establishing reasonable arrangements including a primer on the “Art of Negotiations” by using and demonstrating how to help a willing payer and how to de-escalate from a conflict with an irate caller.  Explore the most critical areas that should be considered when choosing a third-party vendor for these services. Finally, the session will close with a questions and answer opportunity
    for attendees. 

    About the Speakers

    Andrew Poiliti
    Simon's Agency

    Andrew brings over 35 years of experience working within the credit and collection industries. He spent 10 years in the banking industry handling the credit and collections departments as well as utilizing third-party collections working with collection agencies and collection attorneys.

    He spent the last 25 years working with national collection agencies as a sales executive and trainer. He has given numerous talks in the healthcare arena over that time on such topics as accounts receivable management, hiring the right agencies, when to utilize third-party influence, making payment arrangements, and many more.

    John Viggiano
    Simon's Agency

    John has over eight years of experience in Marketing, Communications & Multimedia Design for Simon’s Agency and also worked for the agency during his college years as a Collections Specialist giving him a well-rounded view of debt recovery operations, and in particular, medical collections. John maintains Simon’s social media, website, blogs and newsletters, often contributing content to each and provides design, branding and marketing work as part of his regular duties as a marketing and design professional.

    Continuing Education Units

    Earn up to 1.0 continuing education unit hours for each hour of education from the ACMPE, American College of Medical Practice Executives and up to 1.0 continuing professional educational credit hours for Certified Public Accountants for each hour of education from, The New York State Education Department, Professional Licensing Services. Our events are eligible for continuing education units as awarded by other professional associations. We recommend that you contact your professional association for their approval process.

    Meet our Keynote Speaker
    Mike Regina is intentional. He is an entrepreneur, a philanthropist, a family man, a team player, and a leader who thrives on observing the masses and doing the opposite. Mike does it better, too.

    Getting up at 3:30 am to attack each day is just the beginning. Connecting 1,000s of people a year strategically for the purposes of growing their business is not a typical model for growing a company. Creating a multi-million-dollar business that doesn’t compete on price is a classic blue ocean strategy.

    Mike’s entrepreneurial journey started when he launched a car wash and detailing business in high school. He understood at a young age that working for others would put him in a box and be a lid on his achievements. Additionally, Mike recognized that delivering a great product and service with a smile and a genuine interest for each client was critical to a successful business.

    Mike has since developed key strategies to remove the lid by being intentional, impactful and reciprocal within his communities. He continued his unrelenting entrepreneurial drive by co-founding multiple companies, including Big Sky Enterprises, a construction management firm specializing in healthcare, non- profits and automotive in 2003 and Global Post Auditing Solutions in 2016, a leader and disrupter in transportation freight solutions for Fortune 500 companies.

    Mike currently resides in Haddonfield, New Jersey with his wife and three children. Surfing, golfing and exercising still keep his competitive blood flowing as they have since his youth. When not fostering personal and professional community development, he is often found at the athletic fields supporting his kids.
