More leaders are reporting emotional exhaustion and finding it increasingly difficult to cope with the everyday demands of their job. In this session, we will identify symptoms of leadership fatigue and discuss tips on how to refocus priorities in order to effectively lead your team. Jan Hailey, MHL, CMC, CMCO, CMIS, CMOM Jan Hailey brings more than 30 years of experience in healthcare with proficiency in administration, coding, and billing roles. She joined Saint Joseph Physician Network located in Mishawaka, IN as the Director of Quality in November 2015. In 2019, she transitioned into Director of Care Management with Select Health Network which allowed her to expand beyond the physician network to lead team across the health system and work closely with providers, management, staff, community, and payers to develop strategies for process improvement, gap closures, and patient experience. Jan also developed a documentation improvement program and a Hierarchical Condition Category coding education program to predict future healthcare utilization by accurately reporting patient complexity. Jan holds a Master of Health Leadership degree and four professional certifications in office management, coding, and compliance. She is a member of WPS Government Health Administrators (Medicare) Provider Outreach and Advisory Group. Jan has a passion for teaching and facilitates educational programs nationwide.
